weekend trip

All our family lives in The Netherlands and they do like to visit us. This week it will be time to make the guestroom ready again. Sometimes we are running out of things to do with visitors but not this time. We decided to go away for the weekend and take our guests with us. We are going to Estland by boat during nighttime. In the morning we will be in Tallinn where we will be sightseeing the city and doing some shopping of course. In the evening we will be going on the boat back home again. We have done this before in the winter but I love to see Tallinn in the summer. Now I’m hoping for some nice weather and that my family will enjoy this trip.

TV on travel

We travel a lot and because of that we stay in hotels quite often. What you notice then is that there is a very big difference in what the hotels offer, other than a bed, toilet and shower, possibly with bath tub. The hotel tv also differs from place to place; we’ve had hotels with only 2 local channels on an old big tv that needed warming up to hotels with giant flatscreen tv’s with the full satellite package including even channels from my home country! I guess that’s one of the things hotels get stars for.
